Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Memar platform (the website and its associated apps). By using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of the service
Memar is a technology platform that lets clients post construction, finishing and contracting requests, and lets registered providers submit price offers on them. Memar is not a party to the contract formed between a client and a provider, does not perform any service directly, and does not guarantee the quality or outcome of any service carried out through the platform.
2. User accounts
Every user (client or provider) must provide accurate information when registering and keep their login credentials confidential. Memar reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or is used abusively.
3. Requests and offers
Requests and offers submitted through the platform are direct communication between the client and the provider. Memar does not verify the accuracy of every detail in every request or offer, and responsibility for the final agreement rests with both parties.
4. Provider subscriptions
Providers gain the ability to receive requests and submit offers through paid subscription plans (monthly or annual, depending on the plan). A subscription does not guarantee receiving jobs or work — it grants access to the platform's tools only. Renewal and cancellation details are shown inside the provider app.
5. Optional electronic contracts
The platform lets a client and a provider formalize their agreement with an electronic contract signed by both parties. This contract is a direct agreement between them; Memar is not a party to it and bears no responsibility for the execution of its terms.
6. Ratings
Ratings published on the platform reflect a client's genuine experience after a service is completed. Misleading ratings, or ratings unrelated to an actual service, are prohibited, and Memar reserves the right to remove any rating that violates this.
7. Limitation of liability and no dispute mediation
Memar does not mediate any dispute that arises between a client and a provider regarding execution quality, adherence to the agreement, or any financial matter between them. Any such dispute is resolved directly between the two parties, and we recommend documenting important agreements with a contract to reduce the chance of disputes.
8. Intellectual property
All elements of the platform (name, logo, design, content) are the property of Memar and may not be used without prior written permission.
9. Changes to these terms
Memar may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any dispute relating to the use of the platform itself (not disputes between a client and a provider) is subject to the competent courts of Kuwait.
